Point Reyes National Seashore – Elk
With temperature in the 70s today, and not a cloud in the sky, we took a drive to Point Reyes National Seashore. Part of Point Reyes has an Elk preserve. We were pleasantly surprised to find them only 150 yards from the road. Here is a collection of photographs from today.
Rain
California has two seasons dry and rainy. Well the rain has finally taken hold of California, one thing which benefits from the rain are the grape vines, which received the rain now for summer. They say a wet winter and a hot summer produces a better grape. We’ll now we have half the equation.
Trip to Hans Faden
Hans Faden is the winery were Andrea and I got married in October 2006. It’s one of the few wineries in Nape where a person still can get marries. This is a picture of the winery from last weekend. It similiar to the first time Andrea and I saw the site. We picked up a bottle of Hans Faden 2003 which is very good.
